Corrections

We work hard to keep every coupon and deal on CouponsDo accurate, but mistakes happen — and offers change faster than any team can re-check them. When something on this site is wrong, we want to fix it. This page explains how to tell us, and what happens after you do.

How to report an error

Email us at [email protected], or send a message through our contact page. It helps if you tell us three things: the page where you saw the error (a link, or just the store name), what’s wrong, and what it should say. A link to the merchant’s official page is a big help if you have one — that’s the source we’ll check against. If the problem is a coupon that doesn’t work rather than a wrong fact, our Report a Coupon page is the quickest route.

What happens next

An editor checks your report against the merchant’s official site. If the listing is wrong, we correct it and update the page’s last-checked date. If the offer itself has changed or expired since we last looked, we update the listing to match — or mark it expired and take it down. If the report turns out to be about a different store, or a misunderstanding of the terms, we’ll still have a look: the check costs us a few minutes, and it keeps the site honest.

We review every report we receive. We can’t always reply to each one individually, but every correction that checks out gets made. If you asked us a question in your message, we’ll do our best to answer it.

What we don’t do

We don’t invent past corrections. Some sites publish a long list of supposed fixes to look diligent; we won’t do that. This page describes our process, not a record of corrections that never happened. If a real correction is ever significant enough that readers should know about it, we’ll say so on the page itself. You can also read our Editorial Policy for the rules our writers work to, and our How We Verify page for how offers get checked in the first place.
